The Friends of The Colonial Theatre invite you to participate in the 2009 Wright Designer Show House fundraiser, benefiting The Colonial Theatre’s Education & Outreach programs. One of Keene’s most historical landmarks – the Wright Estate – sets the stage for regional interior designers, artists, landscapers, architects and builders to showcase their talents.

From October 3-18 the public will be invited to tour the house and enjoy the culmination of their creative efforts.  The Colonial Theatre’s Student Series annually brings more than 8,000 children from throughout the Monadnock region to the Theatre, many of whom would not be able to afford experiencing the wonders of live performance.

MISSION STATEMENT
Comprised of a small volunteer group, the Friends of the Colonial Theatre champion and nurture the Colonial's tenets with powerful, enriching and diverse events that enhance membership and encourage community ownership of the Theatre.

The Colonial is passionately invested in the cultural health of our community through our commitment to providing outreach for the underserved, and educational opportunities for all ages. Our educational programs are designed to engage children, teens and adults in the artistic process, cultivate appreciation of the performing arts, and make the performing arts a vital and fundamental part of school and community life.
